FRIENDS OF MULTISPORT CHARITY FUNDING GUIDELINES

Friends of Multisport, Inc. understands the importance of being active in the community. We also clearly understand the importance of charity and providing for our community. As a result we have developed a charity funding protocol that helps us to become better stewards within our community by giving us a chance to hear of the "real" issues facing our city. In this new charity funding process we place high priority on awarding funds to organizations throughout the Oklahoma City metro area that address the local issues facing the population.

We typically offer two (2), fifteen hundred ($1500) charity funding awards each year generated by the registered athletes from Friends of Multisport events. These awards are typically distributed in the fourth quarter of each year. It is important to us to seek requests from multiple charities which allows more agencies to benefit from the funds available.

Please be aware that we strongly encourage applicants to consider that we require a specific level of race day event support from the designated recipient. Volunteers are the lifeblood of every Friends of Multisport event and as a result we are required to be creative in seeking event help. We require a minimum of 25 volunteers, generated by the recipient,  to provide race weekend support. Those charities designated as recipients prior to the event that do not provide the required number of volunteers will forfeit the funding.

The Friends of Multisport application procedure must be followed in order to give your organization the best possible opportunity for consideration.

We prefer electronically submitted applications; however, we will be happy accept typed or legibly written applications.  Below you will find information on our guidelines, eligibility requirements, funding priorities and the application process. Please review this information carefully before preparing and submitting your application.
